Match report (third match)

The return of super Gia made our job alot easier. We easily control the game from the first whistle. It looked like Gia single-handledly kill the opponents by assisting most of the goals in the first half. When the referee blowed for halftime, the scoreline is already 4 or 5 nil. Vu had a hattrick easily in just 1 half.

Dan came on the 2nd half n show his class. He really played his heart out n almost scored hat trick too if not for some unlucky misses. He also set up a few oppotunities which we failed to score. The final score is 7-1. What a terrific victory.

The back four played well today. I enjoyed seeing how we built up from the fullbacks.

Hiep Mat Nai had a terrific game with lots of thru balls, good passes. Moreover, he won a lot of balls in the midfield.

Our man of the match will go for Dan. With just 30 minutes of play time, he made himself a nightmare for the opponents defender. He really put in 120% effort into the game. And for that de deserved the MoM title. A close contender is Hiep Mat Nai.

Just want to say how we, the commitees, choose who will be MoM. MoM is not for the best player on the field (or else Gia will probably get it every game). MoM will go to the player who has an outstanding game, a game which he played much better than his typical game.

At the end of the league, we might have some prizes to give away. 1 of which is the most improved player. The 1st league game saw Thai emerge as a strong contender. In this 2nd league game, Hiep showed us that he's worthy for that title too. Let's see who will be the winner of this prize k. I think Hungbk also improved significantly compared to his last game. Keep it up guys.

Some issues to take note:

1. Dont talk back to the opponents. Come on guys. We were leading by alot. They were angry. There's no point in talking back to them. They were not in the right mind to talk with you.

2. Thai has to watch out for the tackles. We gave away 2 unnecessary penalties in 2 games. It's ok that we play a little less agressive inside the penalty box. Most likely they were not gonna score from those situation. Other than that, you have a really good game Thai.

3. Offsides. We still have quite a lot of offside today. Although we improved alot from the last friendly, it's still not good enough. These teams usually push up very high and they are not gonna turn back n run toward their own goals to defend. They push up only. So we can give them a few yards advantage n we can still outrun them. Hope to see this improvement in the next game.
